But as i have finished the game and am now Min-maxing my character beyond comprehension. I feel as though the only solution is to reinstall Skyrim.
I accept the Terms and then it sends me back to the launcher over and over and over. When i go to play Skyrim, it comes up with the launcher, I press the play button and Windows asks me if Skyrim can make changes to my computer. Has anyone found the save files for Skyrim yet via steam? Mine used to crash to desktop once in a while but it hasn't happened since changing my control panel audio to DVD quality, installing catalyst 11.11a driver, and changing that mouse acceleration, so I can't say which one helped.ĮDIT: BF3 and every other game I have runs fine with both monitors enabled so its not my video card I also get the texture problems that have already been mentioned here, and the shoddy striped shadows (turning up shadow detail option makes it better), but at least I got rid of the 1 fps slideshow problem. For some reason I tried disabling my 2nd monitor and it runs perfectly smooth now with only 1 screen running. It seemed to do it on Medium settings less often than High but was still very annoying. Some report it only works for them with DLC content bows/crossbows though others have reported it with vanilla bows as well.My PC game would quite often go from 60 fps to like 1 fps (for between a few seconds or a few minutes until I restarted the game), usually in the cities, I came to realize the smoke from the fires seemed to cause it when they came into view.
